Movies About War

Films about war tell about the most difficult events in the history of mankind. After all, at such times people often fought for their lives, their homes and their state.

During the First World War, fighting began on Ukrainian territory in 1914. In the Second World War, battles were fought on ethnic Ukrainian lands from 1939 to 1944.

In addition to the two world wars, the world remembers what the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam, Yugoslavia, Korea, Georgia, Israel, Chechnya and elsewhere were like. Unfortunately, Russia started a war in Ukraine in 2014, and on February 24, 2022 – a full-scale invasion.

Films about war tell about the times of past and present wars, as many films are based on real events. Despite the artistic licence, documentaries tell in detail about everything that happened at the time – romance and war, life and death, love and hate. All of this is often combined in the plot and immerses the viewer in those difficult times.
